The LORD GOD isn't short concerning His promises. He's the god of the miraculous!
As I was sitting, spending time with the LORD, I heard Him say, “Many and Much.”
In today’s society, there seems to be a concerted effort to divide and conquer. To subtract from others, in order to redistribute resources.
The LORD that we serve isn’t the the kind of GOD that has to subtract from others. No. He’s the GOD of more than enough. One of the names of GOD is Jehovah Jireh.
Jehovah Jireh means “the LORD will provide” and “to perceive,” “to experience.”
These attributes are relative today. As we see how world powers have gathered together to attempt to limit the resources of others. The LORD wants to demonstrate to the people that He remains, the LORD of many and much. There is no shortages in Him, only abundance. As we draw near to Him in faith, we experience and see that truly, He is everything He says He is. He sees us. He hears us. He provides for us.
The first recorded interaction with Jehovah Jireh was experienced by Abraham. Genesis 22;14-18 says, [14] And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. [15] And the angel of the LORD called Abraham out of the heaven the second time. [16] And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and has not withheld they son, thine only son. [17] That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. [18] And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice.
This passage of scripture bears witness to our LORD, who is the GOD of many and much. It was Abraham’s obedience to GOD’s instruction to bring Isaac, his child of promise to offered as a sacrifice to the LORD. It was Abraham’s obedience that made way for Jehovah Jireh to be seen as the Provider, He is.
Abraham’s faith made way for Jehovah Jireh to continue move through the bloodline and show Myself as the GOD of many and much. As we look around, we see the LORD GOD faithfully showed Himself faithful as the GOD of many and much. He is exactly who He says He is.
As we look in the new testament we see the LORD Jesus continually providing for the needs of His people. Mark 8;1-20 and Matthew 15:29-39, attests the LORD GOD as the GOD of many and much.
When it seems as though resources are limited, look to the LORD GOD of many and much. He sees you. He release experiences and He faithfully provides.
