The LORD highlighted to me the importance of His senior saints and the important position they serve in the house of the LORD. When Jesus was birth accomplished after the eight days of were pass for the circumcision, His parents brought Him to the temple to present Him the LORD GOD and to offer the prescribed sacrifices.

Something interesting happens at this point, Simeon a senior saint one that was waiting for the consolation, the help, comfort of Israel to appear. Simeon (hearkening), had the Holy Ghost upon him. It was made know to him by the Holy Ghost, that he wouldn’t die before he had seen the LORD’s Christ. This man was led by the Holy Ghost to the temple at the precise time Jesus parents brought him into the temple to perform the custom of the law. Upon seeing Jesus, the bible tells us Simeon took him in his arms, blessed GOD, and proceeded to prophesy the word of the LORD over our blessed Hope, Jesus. What a holy moment. The parents were bewildered not knowing what to make of the whole thing.

Simeon received revelation of Jesus conception from the Holy Ghost. The parents received revelation from angels. Joseph and Mary, each had received angelic instructions of the conception of Jesus. Joseph had a dream in which an angel reassured him Mary was to be his wife and that her pregnancy supernatural. In this dream Joseph was also given the name of the child, JESUS and the purpose of His birth.  (Matthew 1:20-21) While Joseph was dreamt, Mary Jesus’s mother received a encounter with a angel as well detailing the conception of our LORD JESUS to which she in Luke 1:38, “And said, Behold the handmaid of the LORD, be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

There is another person who was chosen to witness the consecration of JESUS. Anna (grace), a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel (the face of GOD) of the tribe of Aser (Asher, blessed, the eighth child of Jacob) who was a widow about 84 years. The scripture says departed not from the temple but served GOD with fastings and prayers night and day. (Luke 2:36-37) Anna as well came in that precise time to prophesy of the LORD’s dedication. Anna was the second chosen vessel chosen to give witness by the Holy Ghost of JESUS manifestation to be our redemption and salvation.

In this account of the LORD’s revealing we see the connection between generations as well as the interaction of the Holy Ghost with the angelic to accomplish the will of Father GOD. Each individual gives witness to the karios timing of GOD. At just the right time Mary said yes to GOD’s assignment the angel to carry the holy Child, JESUS. Joseph received a visit from a angel in his dream and consented to GOD’s will by taking Mary as His bride even though she was found to be with child. Simeon and Anna at the right time entered the room in the temple thus identifying and sealing Jesus role as Savior and Redeemer being led by the Holy Ghost. The bible tells us the truth is established in the mouth of two or three witnesses.

The LORD is releasing fresh revelation to His church and has graced us to listen while we seek His face. August 5, 2020 is a time where the LORD is releasing revelation from the Holy Spirit as well as His angels. In this season, the LORD is desiring that we seek His face in order that we will get a sure word from Him. The LORD is converging His servants together to reveal the whole. Joel 2:28-29 says, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, our old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour our My Spirit.” The outpouring is till taking place. No one is to be left behind or left out. Each person has been chosen whether seniors, youths, men and women, boys and girls. Age isn’t an excuse. Nothing is too hard for the LORD. The LORD will re fuel, re fire whomever is obedient to give Him a “YES.”

Those in their golden years will display the power of GOD and many will find themselves renewing their call to GOD again as the Holy Spirit reveals the need of the LORD to them. Others will walk with angels in a way they haven’t experienced before. Revelation knowledge will be released that will cause cities and nations to be released and realigned into their GOD mandated destinies.  Elisha was called of GOD in his later years and served the LORD bringing the word of the LORD faithfully with precision and the power of GOD. We are each needed, each member has a joint that supplies the needed movement to build the Kingdom of GOD. As we each surrender our wills to the purposes of the Heavenly Father, we each see the glory and the love of the Father revealed.

Our seniors are included and will be used of GOD greatly in this hour. The wisdom they possess is invaluable and impartation is needed in this hour. As Simeon prophesied over Jesus, the parents didn’t fully understand his words. They were obedient to their heavenly assignment. At each juncture they continued to follow the divine instructions. The seniors faithfully stood in the place of obedience and reverence in the temple of GOD. They provided the connection that aligned the next generation to the Father’s heart. What was promised was fulfilled.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we bow before You now thanking You that you know everything before it unfolds as nothing is hidden from Your sight. Father GOD, we lift our seniors to you today. We ask You that You’d keep them and refresh them daily by Your Spirit. Renew their youth as the eagle. Father GOD, as they wait on You renew their strength. We pray they will mount up as eagles, they’ll run and not be weary: and they shall walk, and not faint. They will be mighty upon the earth and shall sat in the gates of cities, states, and nations. Grace them to have listening ears to hear and speak that which the Holy Spirit has revealed to them. Reveal Your face to us and grace us with Your presence. May Your aroma fill as drawing all people groups to You. Show yourself strong in our midst and empower us to link arms together as one unit defying the disunity the enemy seeks to release. We thank You, Father GOD that You have chosen a time such as this to reveal Your plan to us. We say, “Yes,” and “Amen” so be it unto us as You have spoken.” Father GOD, we thank You that what was promised will be fulfilled, in Jesus name. Amen
